I am a Penn State employee or a dependent of a Penn State employee. Can I receive the tuition discount granted to Penn State employees and their dependents?
Yes, as long as your (or the employees) benefits plan actually provides such a benefit. You (or the employee) should check with their Penn State human relations representative to verify their eligibility for the Grant-in-Aid (GIA) benefit. Employees who register for World Campus courses should inform us at the time of registration of their GIA eligibility. Eligible dependents of employees should have the employee obtain a GIA for Dependents form from their human relations representative, complete the form, and send the form to World Campus at the time of registration.
