I am a parent and plan to borrow a Parent PLUS Loan for my student for the Summer Session 2010 and/or the 2010 – 2011 academic year. What should I do this year?
You should apply only through the U.S. Department of Education. When you apply for the Parent PLUS Loan, Financial Aid Services submits your information to the U.S. Department of Education. The U.S. Department of Education will do a credit check and then notify you by mail of your Parent PLUS Loan approval or denial.
