I am a member of staff and am working jointly on a project with another Deakin employee. In Section 2 of the NEAF who should be listed as the principal researcher?
The principal researcher is responsible for the project. Ordinarily there is only one principal researcher, however, in situations where it is unclear who has this responsibility and researchers are reluctant to nominate one of the researchers to take this role, the NEAF does allow for more than one principal researcher to be listed. This should be the exception rather than the rule. A student must not be listed as the principle researcher.
