I am a high school student or college freshman with lots of AP college credits and volunteer experience. Can I apply anyway?
No. This program is designed for undergrad students who are in their second year of enrollment at a 4 year accredited academic institution (University of Florida or equivalent institution). UF does NOT offer any B.S./M.D. program to those who have not been enrolled in a university (or equivalent) for at least two years. This includes high school students who may have taken AP courses outside of a university setting. The University of Florida has an excellent pre-health advisement staff, and a website geared for those interested in a medical career that can be found here.
