I am a current enrollee with the Automatic Compound Inflation Option. Would this be a good time to change to the Future Purchase Option and avoid this premium increase?
No. Unless you were already planning to make changes to your coverage, there’s no reason to make any now. You have the option to downgrade your coverage at any time, including switching from Automatic Compound Inflation Option to Future Purchase Option. However, we recommend that you defer making any changes to your coverage until you receive information about the options available to you. You will have time to make decisions about your coverage once you receive information about your choices this Fall.
