I am a commercial (for-profit or for-gain) hosting entity but I do NOT charge anything at all for my TeamSpeak servers. Do I still need to pay or obtain an ATHP license?
YES you do. When you make the decision to become an Authorized TeamSpeak Host Provider (ATHP), you must obtain an ATHP license by registering on our website at https://sales.tritoncia.com/users/register.php and you must pay the MINIMUM $14 per month licensing fee just as all other ATHPs do. Please note that EVEN IF you are not charging anything at all to host TeamSpeak servers, as a commercial entity you MUST still be licensed. You simply cannot have any mention of hosting TeamSpeak servers anywhere on your commercial website at all UNLESS you are properly licensed. This also means you cannot “hold off” on obtaining an ATHP license “later” as you’re waiting for your first paying customer to arrive. You must FIRST be licensed as an ATHP to remain legal and compliant with the terms and conditions set forth in our End User License Agreement (EULA).
