A. Providing the child is over the age of 3 years, and you do not exceed the 2 hours of care per day, then you are exempt from the EYFS. This would be classed by Ofsted as unregulated childcare and would not require registration onto the compulsory part of the register. However, if the child is aged under 3, or care exceeds 2 hours per day, then you would need to implement the EYFS in full.
