Program Partner must submit a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed by a principal with their complete application. A Program Partner obtains an MOU by first selecting a potential public school partner and requesting a meeting with its principal. In the meeting, the Program Partner and principal may discuss general ideas; such as, overall vision for the program or elicit additional ideas or areas of specific need from the school. The discussion should cover logistics; such as, space (office and programming), how students transition in building, communication protocols, meeting schedules, etc. The conversation may also include specific content specialist participation. The inclusion or exclusion of specific Content Specialists may be an important discussion point.
