I am 70 years old. How will Pilates benefit me at my age with bad coordination and muscle weakness?
Pilates’ techniques stretch, improve and build muscle strength, prove joint mobility and range of motion, thereby increasing coordination. It is the goal at our studio to improve balance and endurance in everyday life. If you don’t learn how to use the weaker muscles and coordinate movement with the core; your coordination will get worse over time. Pilates has helped improve my coordination. I am 56 years old and our oldest client is 80 years old.
