Actually, you do not want to delete these folders. If your folder settings are set to show “Hidden Files and folders”, these will appear. They are managed by the operating system. The reason your Anti-Virus program is detecting them is because the operating system has a lock on those folders. As it cannot access them, it thinks that it may “potentially” contain a virus. This is the reason they show up in the quarantined or vaulted parts of your AV(Anti-Virus) software. The System Volume Information folder is a hidden system folder that the System Restore tool uses to store its information and restore points. There is a System Volume Information folder on every partition on your computer. Quite often viruses are found in System Volume Information folder because Windows has included the virus into a System Restore Point when it creates one. This is the same for the recycler folder.
