The hypotonic action of this drink makes it extremely well tolerated, which means you can drink quite a lot of it without any misgivings. Depending on the surrounding conditions, the recommended quantity is 0.4 – 0.8 l per hour. You should not however exceed 0.8 – 1 litre of fluid, because the body is not capable of absorbing a greater amount of fluid; equally, this would also put too much strain on the stomach. Drinking in sips is therefore recommended.
