I already have or will soon have a Master of Sport Sciences degree from the University of Jyväskyläs Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences. Can I still apply for the programme?
Those prospective students who already have obtained or will soon obtain a Master of Sport Sciences degree from the University of Jyväskylä, cannot apply to the programme to study for a degree. The reason is that the Faculty cannot award two degrees with a same title to one person. These applicants should apply for the minor subject study right in sport and exercise psychology. Only few students may be selected through this path, and the programme reserves the right not to select any students. The students who will get a minor subject study right will not be awarded a degree from the programme, but they will obtain a study certificate for having completed the studies. The application for the minor subject study right is by 30th of April. For further information and instructions, please contact the programme staff.
