Make sure that any individual tower is comprised of five (5) or fewer Disc Manager 100 units. For safety and power reasons, the OpdiTracker software will not communicate with more than five units in one tower. However, you can further expand capacity by adding additional towers (again up to a maximum of 5 units per tower). Additional towers can be connected to your computer via USB cable plugged into another USB port on your computer or into a powered hub connected to your computer. Powered hubs are available in most retail computer stores. Make sure that the hubs electrical plug accommodates a minimum of 2.1 amps. Make sure you have not co-mingled Disc Manager 100 units in a tower along with other simular looking storage devices, such as the Imation Disc Stakka. You may have one tower of up to 5 units with Disc Manager 100 units and another tower of up to 5 Imation Disc Stakkas- as both operate via our Opditracker software.
