I acquired my degree at an institution outside of Ontario (or outside of Canada). What are the procedures with respect to transcript requests?
Candidates who have acquired their undergraduate degree from an institution outside of Ontario must make arrangements with that institution to have official, original copies of their transcripts forwarded to Trent University – including language and grade translations – by December 1, 2010. Photocopies and faxes will not be accepted. I acquired my degree at an institution outside of Ontario (or Canada), but credits and/or qualifications have been recognized by a university in Ontario. Should I be submitting documentation stating this, or must Trent assess the eligibility of my degree independently? Course and credit assessments are conducted differently at every university. You should provide original copies of transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended, regardless of how or when particular credits have been assessed by other institutions.
