Booking on line was very straightforward, and the web site gives some clear information about selecting flights that might be cheaper on different days. I also signed up to the regular flyer scheme and was pleased to note that points are allocated according to the cost of your flight. £600 of spend will get you one of Jet 2’s short haul flights free. As our most recent flight was at the end of our vacation, I decided to elect to check in at the airport; I assume the flight would be cheaper if you checked in on-line. We also had hold luggage as we were rucksacking it around Portugal, and we had to pay extra to transport these in the hold. How’s the Jet part of jet2.com? Our most recent flight was unfortunately 45 minutes late, but we were kept well informed (and indeed were told some 3 hours before take off, on arrival at Faro Airport).
