Howlong will the sealer last?
The lifespan of the sealer is dependant on the nature of the sealer and the environment in which it is placed. For example penetrating sealers always outlast surface sealers. The surface sealer will be subject to traffic whereas a penetrating sealer exists below the surface and therefore the tile absorbs the traffic. Various chemicals also naturally have a lifespan. Urethanes will outlast acrylics. The lifespan can be shortened when strong and aggressive cleaners are used. That is why it is important that Multi Clean is used to maintain the sealer during cleaning. Another contributing factor is the amount of traffic the tile is subject to.
