How would you summarize “The Master of Ballantrae” by Robert Louis Stevenson in 50 words or less?
The Master of Ballantrae is a wonderful adventure story which I would call a tale of two brothers. It begins during the Jacobite uprising, when the older goes to fight for those on the side of Bonnie Prince Charlie while the younger joins the king’s forces. It’s a story about two brothers whose very natures are misunderstood. It’s a tale of deception and intrigue, murder and mayhem.
