How Would You Prepare Hamburgers From Ground Beef (Scratch)Any Tips/Methods/Recipesthanks?
Take the beef, mold it into patties. I make my patties fairly thick because I like my burgers medium and very juicy, but you can make them whatever shape/thickness you want. I don’t add anything to the meat itself before molding it, because I think that interferes with the juiciness of the burger and also alters the cooking time. Sprinkle each side of the burgers with a little montreal steak seasoning, or just some salt and pepper and place them on the heat source. You don’t want the grill/stove TOO hot or your burgers will burn on the outside and be raw on the inside. About 350 degrees is a good temp for cooking beef. Once you have the burgers on the heat, DON’T TOUCH THEM. Don’t smoosh them down, and don’t flip them or move them around in the pan/grill. For a medium burger, you need to cook it about 8 minutes on each side. Serve on your favorite bread (I put mine on a salad ’cause I don’t eat bread) with your favorite condiments/cheese/veggies. Enjoy!
