How would you feel about wolves being reintroduced to scotland?
Personally, I have pros and cons to this motion. However, would the wolves being reintroduced be the same species that once lived there? I am assuming that it would be! Pros: Tourism: tourists love big cool animals. Wolves would get lots of attention and probably be good for locals who would benefit from more tourism. Local ecosystems: many studies seem to show that ecosystems that were out of balance can be helped by returning native species to the area. ie: Foxes benefit from wolf reintroductions in the USA because wolves kill coyotes who kill foxes. Hunting: if wolves do successfully establish themselves, the government can allow hunting seasons for them, which is also usually good for tourism. Cons: Difficulty of reintroduction: depending on how different things have become, wolves may have a hard time even getting back to the way things were. If the area has no prey items for them to hunt, they will most certainly become problems for farmers. If there is enough food and, in time,
