How would YOU define a platonice male/female friendship ?
True platonic friendships bare no threat to anyone relationship – besides you may well have known the guy or female yonks before you knew your loved one, so why should you be asked to give that friendship up. Crossing the line would be the obvious, were you to make love with them of course, but also you could be crossing the line if one suspected the other had stronger feelings than they should really have for you. I always suggest that if you have a friend before marriage or going out seriously with someone else, that you keep that friend but get your partner involved with them too, so that all three of you become good friends – that way there will be no trouble. And yes men and women can have good platonic friends – so as long as everything is above board there is no reason as to why this sort of friendship should not continue. Remember always involve your loved one, and he should also do the same for you, then it will work.
