How would you deal with someone particually kids not liking the smell of Trout while cooking?

It depends on what you mean by ‘not liking’. If they just don’t like the smell, I’d tell them to go to another room and deal with it. However, for me the smell of certain things (specifically mutton and/or mushrooms) cooking literally makes me sick, so my mom just avoided cooking that stuff when I was around.
