How would you compare the films Titanic and Avatar as they are both James Cameron films?
Comparing the two films together is like comparing an Audi to Toyota. (How coincidental: Audi for Avatar, Toyota for Titanic lol) Both have their positive and negative criticisms. Special Effects: Avatar 1 Titanic 0 Of course the winner to this challenge is Avatar, having the basis that the movies is almost 90% computer generated and rendered with 3D software. Titanic not so much, except for the sinking of the boat and the Gigantic ice berg. Plot: Avatar:1 Titanic:1 Tie Avatar’s plot is very in depth. Of course, being a science fiction story, it has to be. Unlike Titanic which is based off of facts of the 1912 Titanic sinking. Although the characters are fictionous, most of the plot stays within the story and historical events for example: People board boat, boat hits iceberg, boat sinks, people die, etc.
