How would the world react if Australia brought back the White Australia policy?
I think the countries that believe Australia is a racist country are either gullible (I could tell them the sky was actually green and they’d believe me) or have obviously not looked in their own backyard at their own racist attitudes themselves (it’s a diversion tactic now common in the Indian media). There is racism in varying forms on every continent in the world, and frankly it annoys me that some people chose to single out Australia. Australia has one of the most diverse, multicultural societies of any country on the planet – and happily accepts people from all walks of life (provided you enter the country legally with your passport and visa) which is the way it should be. I don’t believe Australia would ever bring back the white Australia policy, but if they did… there is no country (least of all the US) who would commence military action. It is a countries own business about what policies or laws they wish to make and “international opinion” shouldn’t really sway those decisio
