How would the Rockledge benefit the Valleys Younger Set?
As the younger generation flees the Valley in alarming numbers, the Rockledge Inn would help bring a hip factor to the Roanoke Valley. The urbane, trendy Star Bar would contribute to the recent, upward trend of downtown revitalization in helping provide the lifestyle so lacking, but desirable, to the younger, creative class. While not a panacea by itself, the Star Bar, outdoor social/dining spaces, and various events (parties, receptions, weddings, and functions) would add another valuable piece to the quality of life equation and create an undeniably hip attraction.
