How would the Gaylord Resort at Chula Vista affect the environment?
A. Gaylord is committed not only to being a good corporate citizen, but to being an environmentally conscious neighbor. Through smart design, we intend to incorporate many of the latest in green technologies and to achieve LEED certification, the Good Housekeeping seal of approval by the US Green Building Council. We are also listening to local environmental groups like the Audubon Society and designing the project to be sensitive to migratory birds and the surrounding natural environment.
