How would Robert Kilroy- silk get on as prime minister?
Kilroy Silk does not have the credentials to get there – he is too blunt & too honest in many respects. Sincerity & integrity do not seem to be vital attributes of leaders (especially nowadays). Spin & hype play a part & it is important to be a good actor for the cameras (he’d probably qualify in the last instance) There is real power behind the scenes & he would & does get eaten alive in real politics.
