Some schools have programs in interior design. Maybe you’ve seen Thom Filichia on Style Network, the show Dress My Nest. He graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in interior design. Lots of other colleges have programs. I haven’t read about or heard of designers with higher degrees, although the college professors must have advanced degrees to be allowed to teach.
