How would it effect your life if all the worlds tropical rain forest were destroyed?
It would effect every living organism’s life. Rain forests are the lungs of Earth. They produce the required oxygen for the life on Earth. Without the tropical rain forests the oxygen content of our atmosphere would decrease dramatically. Hence the lack of oxygen would suffocate many living things’ to death. We know that the trees absorb carbon dioxide which is a green house gas. According to the theory of Global warming if the tropical rain forests were cut down the percentage of Carbon dioxide would increase and cause a great amount of global warming. Hence the surface temperature of the Earth would rise and melt the glaciers and polar ice caps of the Earth. This would increase the sea levels and drown many coastal areas. Due to the increase in amount of water in seas their percentages of salt and other minerals would decrease and and sea water would evaporate quickly so in warmer areas there would be drought due to lack of water while in colder areas there would be very heavy rainfa
