How would I go about trying to get my local small town newspaper to start publishing book reviews?
If you have an arts/entertainment editor start with them. If you have none, write a letter to the editor and publisher and let them hear your ideas. If your local libraries or schools contribute to the paper see if they would add book reviews. Maybe have examples from other papers that you’ve seen. Keep in mind a lot of papers are not looking to add space at this time that cannot be paid for.
