How would I go about securing nursing home care for a family member?
There must be a need for skilled services. Skilled nursing and/or skilled rehabilitation service are those services, furnished pursuant to physician order, that require management and evaluation of a patient care plan, observation and assessment of patients condition, and teaching and training activities. Referral sources include hospitals, adult day health care facilities, adult homes, community agencies and physicians. Skilled Nursing and/or skilled rehabilitation service requires a Patient Review Instrument (PRI) completed by a certified RN. The PRI is then reviewed by our medical staff for approval.
