How would I go about building a Bird Aviary?
I’ve seen Cockatiels, Lovebirds, African Greys and Indian Ringnecks all get along together in large flight aviaries. Most of it depends largely on the personalities of the individual birds and the size of the aviary vs. the number of birds. For Lovebirds and Cockatiels, since they are not prolific “chewers” like Greys are, you can get away with using a wooden frame for the aviary. You can either buy some pre-assembled panels that are made for standard housing walls, or build some yourself. The largest cost will be the wire for the walls.
