How would I benefit by booking my travel through an agent as apposed to doing it myself?
Travel agents consult a variety of published and computer-based sources. They may visit hotels, resorts, and restaurants to evaluate comfort, cleanliness, and quality of food and service so that they can base recommendations on their own travel experiences and/or those of colleagues and/or clients. Ability to have a network of people that will provide the knowledge is very important.
