How would a Sysop actually prohibit something?
If a Sysop is constructed out of precisely engineered units as small or smaller than complex molecules, then a Sysops reach could be so perfectly measured and targeted as to make any attempt to violate someones volition akin to an attempt to violate the laws of physics. There would be no need for prisons or punishments to deter would-be murderers. Murder simply could not happen. It would be interesting to see what these minimal responses might actually look like if you were watching them. The following examples are surely anachronistic given the way the world could look post-Singularity, but you might imagine bullets that always miss the good guys just like in the movies, or natural disasters that just happen to not harm people and property, all in ways that would seem and be impossibly lucky.
