How would a successful Operation Break Autism relate to the many “treatments” for autism?
The lot of current “treatment approaches” are surely noble and advocated out of sincere care for the plight of autistic persons and their families. There is little negative in trying every possible ray of hope while “understanding” of the darkness is being pursued. A successful Operation Break Autism would add value to current (and new) treatments by enabling them to become more targeted. For example, efforts to permanently eradicate undesired autism characteristics or restore normal, desired ones would be bolstered. Establishment of a definitive biological factor would be a very strong development in expediting a more permanent solution to throw against autism’s broad spectrum of problems.
