How will you report people who indicate more than one race, or dont indicate any at all?
This will vary depending on whos asking. For federal Department of Education purposes, people who indicate more than one race will be reported as two or more races; people who dont indicate any will be reported as unknown. However, people who indicate that they are Hispanic or Latino will be reported as Hispanic / Latino, and nonresident aliens will be reported as such, regardless of the race(s) chosen. Other organizations are likely to follow this pattern, but may request the information in a different format. Shepherd will use your original responses to determine the most appropriate response in each case.
