How will Windham High School develop the science curriculum?
Students will have the opportunity to enroll in Integrated Science and Honors Integrated Science during their first year of high school. New labs and 21st century technology will enhance all science curricula. Ninth grade students who seek to excel in science, have demonstrated high abilities in the sciences, and who commit to Chemistry and Physics (in order to fulfill state-mandated units of study that are contained within Integrated Science) will have the opportunity to enroll in Honors Biology. A wide range of science electives will be offered to students in the upper grades of high school, including Advanced Placement courses. The Program of Studies contains complete information about these courses.
