How will we know that the parcel tax money is being spent as promised?
An advisory committee of citizen stakeholders will be appointed by the Board of Education to ensure that the proceeds of the tax are spent for their authorized purposes. An independent auditor will report to the Board of Education once a year. And the district will provide both the Board of Education and the community with updated revenue and expenditure reports in at least three reports each fiscal year.
