How will understanding ethnic minority groups benefit the Study?
Gaining a true picture of ethnic minority groups will enable comparative studies to be completed, looking at the life chances and experiences of this group of people. With a boosted sample of ethnic minority participants, researchers will be able to analyse differences, not just between the white majority and ethnic minorities, but between different ethnic groups. The longitudinal aspect of the Study will enable researchers to analyse changes – between and within groups – over the long term.
