How will UBCevents be different from Live@UBC?
Well, the concept of a calendar will remain, but the way event providers and attendees interact with it will be completely changed. The sterile white space and simple options of the current site will be replaced with a dynamic homepage featuring a variety of different tools that will lead you to the events of interest to you. RSS feeds and the potential to display calendar content on other existing web sites will assist in bringing event information to users, instead of users trying to track down events.
