How will traffic congestion around schools be handled?

Parents are concerned that traffic will back up at the school because they only have a 10 minute window for dropping off children. Many have suggested allowing access to buildings 20 – 30 minutes before school starts. It is recommended that parents take advantage of the morning and afternoon latchkey services that are available and will expand depending on needs of parents and available physical space. Enrolling in a latchkey program will allow early access. Additionally, students who live in no transport subdivisions will be able to access school buildings approximately 15 minutes before school starts. Please confirm with each school office prior to leaving your child.
