Pennsylvania is facing a looming pension crisis, deficits in the Unemployment Compensation Trust Fund, declining stimulus money and an uncompetitive tax structure. The current administration has increased spending by 40 percent, placing that burden on the taxpayers of Pennsylvania, leaving us with insurmountable debt and a failing economy. Tom Corbett believes that Pennsylvanians already pay too much in taxes. That is why he signed a no tax pledge – he believes that taxpayers should not be burdened with Harrisburg’s mistakes and greed.
