How will Toll-by-Plate work?
TOLL-BY-PLATE is a tolling system that works by capturing an image of a vehicle’s license plate as the vehicle passes under a toll gantry, and matching that license plate with the registered owner of the vehicle. The customer will receive a TOLL-BY-PLATE invoice for the tolls incurred over a 30-day period, plus a $2.50 administrative charge. The invoice will include information on how to pay online, via telephone or by mail.
