How will time work at Le Palais?
Check the news fader. Once the game starts, the news fader will have the date, the day of the week, and the weather, like so: Monday, January 1, 2004. Cold and snowing. I might or might not use the current year. Dunno yet. But depending on where I see the players at, that’s when I’ll move the day ahead. When posting in-character, put the day of the week and the in-game time in your subject line, like so: I don’t care what your time is. It has no bearing on the in-game time, which is basically determined by the players. But put a reasonable time for your in-character posts. If the Head Page is waking all the Pages up for the day, it makes no sense for 3:34 PM to be the time in the subject line, ne? My inspiration for this system, by the way, is the District 9 roleplay on LiveJournal, so take a look at how they’re doing it.
