How will this project impact other departments systems? Will the new system replace departmental systems?
The new HRMS/Payroll system will add functionality to that provided by the current systems. It is our hope that the new HRMS/Payroll system will eliminate the need for duplicate departmental systems and will present a cost-saving benefit for the department and the state. However, the replacement of specific departmental systems should be a business-driven decision which may need additional statewide direction from the administration.
