A. Currently, schools on-reserve deliver the provincial curriculum without a legislative basis to ensure that standards are met and that leaders are accountable to parents for outcomes. There has been limited success with this approach. This initiative will allow Participating First Nations to develop culturally-relevant, community-tailored education programs that are provincially recognized.
