Senate Bill 778 (2009 Legislative Session) also made changes to the existing Vehicle Protection Product Regulatory Act under Texas Occupations Code Chapter 2306. Senate Bill 778 expanded the scope of what is covered under a Vehicle Protection Product to include identity recovery services.
