How will the WRE54G affect transmit rate for wireless clients that are using it to connect to the Wireless LAN?

• The Range Expander will reduce the transmit rate in approximately half of the original rate. Meaning, when it detects a 54 Mbps connection with either a WAP54G, WRT54G or WRT54GS, it would only relay half of that transmission rate to wireless client that are connecting to it. In this case, wireless client would connect at a rate of only about 22 Mbps.
