How will the Victorian Government use the information?
It is envisaged that the report will serve a variety of purposes such as: Informing policy makers in the development of new policies to improve the state of our environment; Informing land and environmental managers, such as local governments, water authorities, catchment management authorities and others, to assist the development of appropriate management responses; Informing environmental education programs; and Providing easily understood and accessible information to the wider community about the state and condition of the Victorian environment.
