How will the transfer to DLLR impact my pay and retirement?

0

For the vast majority of the employees who will transfer to DLLR, they will remain in the same pay plan when they transfer — the Standard Pay Plan. As noted above, there are some transferring employees who are part of the Institutional Educator Pay Plan (for example librarians, certain teachers, principals, and coordinators) who will continue to be paid according to the IEPP. The only difference in your pay check will be that it references DLLR as your employing agency. As to retirement, all employees transferring to DLLR will remain in the same retirement system that they were assigned while at MSDE.
