How will the tests in phases 2 and 3 be carried out?
Phase 2 tests are organized into two parts: • An online test with 100 questions that should be answered in 60 minutes • A 90 minute practical skills Packet Tracer activity which contestants will download from the Competition Site, complete the PT Activity and then take a PT Activity Exam featuring 20 questions. Packet Tracer 5.3 is required to complete this phase. Phase 2 tests take place between October 11-22, 2010. The actual date and time within the above timeframe must be determined by the proctoring instructor. Phase 3 includes a series of skills evaluations: • NetLab evaluation activity: Competitors will complete a 45-minute exercise using NetLabs. Their performance will be evaluated by the phase 3 judges. • Network design presentation: A case study for a network design will be given to competitors 24 hours prior to the phase 3 testing period.
